Let's Get to Know Me

All said and done, this is my fourth blog? Blogspot, WordPress, Tumblr (if that counts) and now Wix. I've always enjoyed having an outlet to write, or scribe. Jot down notes or write pieces that will never be read by more than a few people.

It's almost therapeutic in a way. (I had to use spell check on theraputic)

I love video games, they win out over my love of movies and boy howdy, do I love movies. I've been playing games since I can remember, and even before that. I began with the NES and have kept with it til this day, even roping my Fiancee into my gaming addiction.

Everything from the stories told, to the engaging experiences, and the whimsical characters. Even all of the hard as nails games that can frustrate me to no end, they all have their place in my heart.

I decided to start this blog because it's been 5+ years in earnest since I've regularly wrote. It's always something I wanted to get into for a career, but always shelved it.

This site isn't to act as a portfolio, something to get me a job, but more of a door, opening back up to my love of writing.

I'm M(atthew)C Wright, a 30(as of February 21st 2019)-year old dude who still acts like a boy when I play a new game for the first time and let myself get swept away into it's world.
