N.N #2 - Day Wasted

So I wanted to follow up yesterday's Night Note with some searching, and answers to the things I was pondering about. So let's go through the list.
Beans: Pods. Huh, so all beans grow in pods then? Makes enough sense, just didn't know if there was a difference between families of beans. Well, that was anti-climatic..
Bouillon: So the word stems from the verb, "Bouillir" which means "to boil". Bouillon itself is the French word for "Broth".
It came about in it's earliest recorded form in the 1600's as dehydrated meat stock in the form of tablets. It wasn't until the 1800's when French chefs tried to patent them in cube form. Around the early 1900's is when they were finally mass produced and similar to the one's we know and use today.
It's fascinating that something as simple as dried meat+ is something so new as only a few hundred years old.
Technology advancements y'all.
This night's Note is a little shorter, but it's also because it crept up on me. Having spent the day working on stuff on the computer and then playing the Dawnguard expansion on Skyrim, and finishing up the day listening to the IrrationalPassions.com Podcast live recording with my boys Jake & Alex.
I have had something to drink, and I apologize for the (lack of) quality of the doodle for N.N #2.
