N.N #3 - Fatigue with a grand helping of Boss Monster

ree
Food and Card Games for the Soul.

Today I had zero energy so I spent it sitting and laying around playing Boss Monster with Alexandria while watching Parks & Recreation.

I’ve really been enjoying the latest set for the game: Rise of the Minibosses. I like what they’ve added to the base rules with the aforementioned Minibosses and as well as the Coin mechanic.

ree
We had a good laugh when we each played the same Treasure Type.

In other news I also made Beef Stir Fry

-1LB Stir Fry Beef (can find it in most markets in the deli)

-2 Bell Peppers. I use 1 each of an Orange & Yellow Bell Pepper

-1 Sweet Onion.

-1 pack of Soba Noodles

-1 bottle of Kikkoman Gourmet Sauce

-1 Large Pan

-1 Medium Pan

-1 Medium/Large Pot

-Noodles

I place the noodles into the pot with ½ - 1 cup of water with 2-3 Tablespoons of Gourmet Sauce and boil on high, making sure to turn over after a couple minutes of boil. Then after both sides have had time on boil, stir noodles and turn heat down to medium. Once there’s barely any liquid left in the pot turn the heat off.

*This step takes place once the Beef has cooked in the sauce for a good amount*

Pour the Gourmet Sauce/Beef fluid into the pot, keeping the beef in the Med. Pan. Turn the heat back on to Medium and cook, while stirring intermittently for 4-5 minutes. After the time is up top the noodles with the Beef and remaining Beef fluid and keep heat on low until Veg is done cooking.

-Veg

In the large Pan cut some butter or put in your oil of choice, place on med-high and cook onions first.

Once the onions have slightly browned, make into a pile and shift to a side of the pan, then place in one of the cut bell peppers in the space created.

When the bell peppers have gotten slightly browned do the same as before but mix the bell pepper with onion. Then place the final bell pepper in the space.

Cook until your preferred level of brown/char.

Either then add Gourmet Sauce and turn up the heat so it cooks faster, or add salt/seasoning of choice and put on low.

-Beef

Take out of the fridge and cut into 2-3in pieces and let marinate in the Gourmet sauce for 30 minutes while the Veg and Noodles are cooking. Once it’s done marinating put butter/oil into the Medium Pan & set the heat to Med-High, then add the beef/sauce.

Let the beef cook til desired brown on one side and then turn over. After the other side has gotten to that same desired brownness pour the sauce/beef fluid into the noodle pot. Continue cooking on medium until the beef is your desired level of brown/charred and then add to the pot.

*You may also add Sesame Seeds, Broccoli, Green Onion, or whatever, it’s Stir Fry lol.*

& There you go! That’s the first time I’ve shared a personal recipe of mine!!

Hope everyone has a great night & see you tomorrow, where I haven't prepared anything for the blog yet!
